Our founder’s catering experience spans more than 300 events, from intimate private gatherings to corporate functions and community celebrations. That experience includes serving Ford Motor Company, Motown Museum, Rocket Mortgage, the City of Detroit, and other businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations. We bring the same care to a family celebration that we bring to a company event: thoughtful preparation, professional presentation, and dependable service.
Our Story: From Ann Arbor to Malibu Catering Co.
My catering journey began in 2017 while I was attending college and working with University of Michigan Catering in Ann Arbor. I saw how a well-planned meal could make people feel welcome and turn a gathering into something memorable. I later co-founded Bigg Bites, helping build the business, operate food trucks, and serve customers across Metro Detroit. When our professional paths evolved, I created Malibu Catering Co. to bring my own vision to life: quality food, creative menus, professional service, and personal attention to every event.
